“I am sure that it goes without saying but when you have much of your time, energy and money invested in a big game hunt, you tend to be a little picky when it comes to your taxidermy. I first saw Artistic Visions Taxidermy at an outdoor and hunting show and was extremely impressed with both his beautiful and realistic work as well as his pricing and timeliness on the return of the finished trophies. After looking at a half a dozen or so other taxidermy studios Artistic Visions continued to stick out in my mind. Not only was the trophy quality amazing, Aaron's eagerness and positive attitude towards me as a client sealed the deal. I felt like a person not a number with his studio and that my trophies would be taken care of properly. When Aaron says he would be “honored” to complete your trophies I felt like he was actually telling the truth not trying to make a sales pitch. I am proud to say that I harvested a beautiful African Lion this past year and was very well taken care of by Aaron of Artistic Visions as well as the dip and ship companies he referred to get my trophies back here to the United States. After setting up the dip and ship (which went extraordinarily smooth in comparison to my previous African safaris) and import into the U.S., Aaron took only 7 months to get my beautiful lion back to its rightful and proud place in my trophy room. The artistry and quality was exceptional, and my lion looks as good as the day I harvested it. My wife and I are amazed at how life like it is, almost like it can walk right off the base. I could not be a happier client. Artistic Visions Wildlife Studios is a professional, top class outfit. After years of looking for the right taxidermist to fulfill all of my trophy needs I am 100% sure I have found it in Artistic Visions. On your next hunt give them a call, you will not be disappointed.”

“Aaron:
I wanted to let you know that my Waterbuck mount arrived yesterday and is very well done! Your attention to detail and thoroughness shows in your work and the mount will be a cherished addition to my African plains game wall in my trophy room for many years to come.
Not knowing what's happening and where your trophies in the shipping process are is very concerning to the international hunter. The last trophy shipment from SA took nearly a year to get shipped and was hassle after another working with the shipping company in SA to get them picked up from the dip/ship taxidermist, hauled to the airport in Jo'berg and finally scheduled for delivery – never again!
Being kept in the loop with timely notices from the time the trophies were picked up from the concession in SA, shipped from Jo'berg, cleared customs in New York and delivered to your shop, I knew where my trophies were at all times. Getting my trophies out of Africa, through customs and delivered to your shop in 121 days was impressive to say the least.
The domestic freight company called several days in advance to let me know when the shipment would arrive; and the driver actually showed up an hour and half early of the scheduled delivery time. The freight forwarding company built a sturdy and very secure container and sent an email notifying me of the tracking number of the shipment. I was impressed that any common carrier could get my trophy picked up on the east coast and delivered to south Texas in 4 days! Most freight sits in a warehouse and can take up to 2 weeks to find space on trailer and be scheduled for transport; usually arriving at the shipper's freight terminal. Having a trophy shipment delivered to my house will certainly spoil a guy!
Thanks again for all your hard work and professional attention to make sure my trophies were handled with the utmost care and delivered at very reasonable prices and unexpectedly fast time frame!
If my male lion hunt is successful this coming fall, I look forward to working with you to create the two life size mounts of the lion attacking my trophy Nyala bull! “

“Artistic Visions Wildlife Studio is above the best! I was amazed at the life like quality of my African trophies. I was able to harvest 6 beautiful animals from South Africa and had them displayed on my wall within ten months of harvesting them. Aaron's studio is a one stop shop; He coordinated the entire shipping, importing and tanning process. I received numerous phone calls and emails from Aaron during the process to be keep me informed of my trophy status. I truly enjoyed my experience with Artistic Visions Wildlife Studio. Aaron is an exceptionally talented artist with the desire to make every customer happy with a trophy they will be proud to display forever.
Aaron has my business for life!”

“I'm an avid hunter I live on the edge of the second largest wilderness area in PA. I spend allot of my time chasing trophy whitetails. I'm very particular in who I choose as my taxidermist for those trophies. This year I was fortunate enough to take a trophy Bull Elk with the Bow. It was an experience that was indescribable and my plans were to hang this beautiful creature in my living room for display. As one can imagine that didn't really excite my wife. In order to do this I knew my mount had to be perfect and not just look like a humongous dead animal hanging on the wall. My wife and I both met with Aaron, we showed him pictures of where we wanted to display it. Aaron discussed with us our different options of what he thought would give it character and make it look alive. He also quickly pointed out because of the height he would need to order a special mount and then modify it so the antlers wouldn't hit the wall. This would have most likely been missed by the other Taxidermists I spoke with prior to picking Aaron. My wife and I felt more comfortable after spending some time with Aaron, I knew the pose he proposed was perfect for the spot it would displayed, but my wife remained a little apprehensive about it being in the living room. When we picked the animal up, it was so much bigger than what I remembered; my wife said it looks so alive, I feel like it's looking at me. As Aaron would say that's the best compliment a Taxidermist could get. When I got it home and finally displayed the animal it was so incredibly beautiful my wife said wow that is so big, but it looks like art on the wall that belongs there. Now when my friends or neighbors stop by it's always a talking point which leads to stories and each time it brings back the incredible hunting experience in my mind.
I have to say I feel a little funny each time I used the word taxidermist, because actually Aaron is an Artist and his animals are his work. Anyone will see that when they 1st walk into his studio. It can be a little overwhelming, your 1st thought will be can I afford this guy, it certainly was mine. But I was shocked by how competitive he was with the upper tier studios, and actually only a little bit more than the taxidermist garage shop. There is a big difference between having a dead animal hanging on the wall and a piece of art hanging on the wall, and Aaron brought out the art. My wife would have been the biggest critic of that and she see's art not a dead animal. Aaron will be my artist for all my future trophies and I would certainly recommend him to you for your personal trophy, whether it be whitetail or bigger game. If you were proud of it when you harvested the animal, make sure your proud of it when you go to display it. Make sure you give Aaron a call.”

"I first met Aaron Simser of Artistic Visions Wildlife Studios about three years ago. I was visiting my friend Gordon Stark of Nhoro Safaris at the Harrisburg Sportsman's Show, { Pennsylvania} and I was trying to get my trophies from the previous year expedited and shipped out of South Africa. Included in that shipment was a hard-earned, long sought-after lioness trophy forty-odd years and many safaris in the making which I had collected in the Kalahari .The usual, ever present screw-ups delays and mis-communications are always associated with conducting business overseas. Now after consulting and visiting with my good friend Gordon for the better part of a week, he introduced me to Aaron by way of recommending him as a good choice for my upcoming needs for taxidermy services. I must confess an initial uncertainty in believing so young, even boyish a person could be capable of the skilled work I expected done with my hard-earned raw trophies. {Of course at my age[76] anyone under the age of 40 is a callow youth}. It turns out I need not have worried. After many long discussions and viewing many examples of his work I was convinced. Some other outstanding qualities he possesses struck me as relevant to reaching my decision. He is passionate about his work and indeed everything else he does. He is a meticulous worker, and very detail oriented. His sense of design and form and structure is sharp and above all he has the artist's feel for what is natural and what is contrived and trite. I also appreciate his willingness to be proactive with the client {within acceptable parameters } in the design or look of the final product. As it turns out he has recently finished my life-size lioness mount,{Incredibly lifelike and visually stunning.} as well as a perfectly executed shoulder mount nyala with a small but effective habitat attached which is a welcome addition to my trophy room. To say that I am well-satisfied with his work would be an understatement and I fully expect him to do some more work for me when my other trophies arrive from Africa. Need less to say I value his work as well as his friendship which has developed out of our business connections and hope to continue both those close relationships into the future. Thank You for everything my friend."
