Aaron Simser is a Marine Corps veteran with over a decade of taxidermy experience. Born and raised in Northern NY, Aaron grew up with hunting and fishing in his blood. After an honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps with medals of commendation, and graduating from Kutztown University with a criminal law degree he chose to pursue a fufilling career in Wildlife Artistry. He is always striving for Quality! Aaron is a world renowned taxidermist and continually attends conventions, workshops and seminars to keep pace with the newest advances within the Taxidermy industry.

Aaron just recently fufilled a lifelong dream of going on a classic African Safari. The trip was an amazing sucess and Aaron harvested many trophy animals including the number SCI Gold Medal #47 in the world Waterbuck. It was a trip of a lifetime and Aaron was honored to have been able to experience such a incredible hunt.

 

This is a step by step look into the customization that goes into the work at Artistic Visions. This Cape Buffalo was mounted during a seminar at Cabela's and the pictures below show the transformation of the Cape Buffalo from a tradtional straight wall mount to a 60 degree custom pedestal.
